I stopped and took this picture and looked at the map,
we were only about two miles away from the hwy 20 and it was 2:00 pm so I new we had enough time to go another thirty miles or so.( I would travel back roads and explore all the time if I could.) As we came around this corner
we could see hwy 20
for the first time and we also seen a sign that said Idaho Centennial Trail to the left (southwest) towards Mountain Home.
All I new from this point was I was looking for a road called Castle Rock, it turned out not to be that far.
(three to five miles if I remember right) When I turned right on the road I could see another I.C.T.
sign and up ahead a lot of different rock formations
which was kind of exciting especially for Don, he love rocks. I just like talking pictures of all the rock formations.

I have enjoyed reading about your exploits. Fun and exciting. If you want some company on your adventures and can give us some lead time for scheduling perhaps some of the Backroad Drivers Northwest members, including myself, would like to tag along.
What happens to the Idaho Centennial Trail in mid-state? Does it continue as a motorized vehicle trail or does it switch to foot and float?
